I am a teacher. I am working in PITE as an SS. It is an apex institute in Baluchistan, that trains in service teachers, designs modules, and works on research. I have a great passion for teaching. I felt and realized that without education progress is impossible. I try to educate people & MITIGATE IGNORANCE, MY AIM OF LIFE IS TO “Get education and spread education”


Educational Institution


As it is mentioned above that our institution work is to train in service teacher, and Develop Modules. Our institution conducts trainings and it assigns us topics to teach according to the need of teachers. We teach them in pair teaching, Group Work, activity based training. With the passage of time it is keenly realized that teachers should be trained to teach in a good way but after training there should be observation and post workshop help.
The needs of my institution are
1. To approach donor agencies to conduct trainings for teachers
2. To manage ICT’s program for teachers as well for member of PITE institute.
3. To equipped computer & science laboratory.
4. To approach other educational institutions for research work.
5. CPD(Continuous professional development) sessions scheduled for academic staff.

Describe your Educational institution and current academic structure


As it is mentioned above that our institution work is to train in service teacher, Develop Module. Our institution conduct trainings and it assigns us some topic to teach according to the need of teachers. We teach them in pair teaching, Group Work, activity based training. With the passage of time it is keenly realized that teachers should be trained to teach in a good way but after training there should  be check and balance.


MASTER ACTION PLAN


GOAL:


To bring awareness about daily hygiene among the students of grade 6,7 and 8. 


Objectives


Students will be able to


                                                  Know about personal hygiene.


                                                 Aware of the importance of daily bath, toileting habits


Day 1


Objective:  Seek permission from Head of Department


Procedure: Write a permission letter to the Head of my Department


Day 2


Objective: Meeting with Headmistress of Government Girls High School Katchibeg Quetta


Procedure: Travel to Government Girls High School Katchibeg Quetta to meet with Headmistress and obtain permission to conduct workshop


Day 3


Objective:  Purchase materials for workshop


Procedure:  Travel to purchase: Flashcards, pencils, colored pencils, charts, erasers, markers, scissors, ruler, etc. 


   Day 4                           


  Topic: Personal hygiene


Procedures:


-           Brain storming about Health and Hygiene

 Activity


 Story books will be provided to student in groups and asked them to discuss why personal hygiene is important?


                             Charts, whiteboard, Pictures, white board markers.




          -Questions:


Do you take shower before coming school?


How many times do you brush your teeth in a day? Etc.


Procedures:


A lecture about health & hygiene will be delivered to the students.


Daily practices regarding health & hygiene i.e., of keeping neat and clean, brushing teeth, trimming nails, combing hair, wearing clean clothes. 


Activity


 Material about health and hygiene will be provided to students and asked them to prepare chart about their learning. Gallery walk will be conducted and share the views of different groups about health and hygiene.

Pictures will be distribute to the students about personal hygiene which will be discussed in group

 Students from each group will come and share about personal hygiene and its importance.






Assessment


Activity sheet will be developed and provided to students. They will complete this sheet daily and resource person will ask about this activity sheet daily and motivate them for their personal hygiene

Topic: BALANCED DIET


 Objectives:


Students will be able to


                                                 Enlist the better food groups for a healthy body.


                                                 Identify the importance of the nutrients in diet.

REFLECTION ON MAXWARBURG
COURAGE


“The quality of mind or spirit that enables a person to face difficulty, danger, pains etc. “It was such a great pleasure to be at the MAXWARBURG courage curriculum northeastern university. It was about a courageous student who fought against his disease bravely & courageously. It is the direction and streamline for the students to write their memorable moments and they are collected and printed in the curriculum.


The thing which inspired me a lot that the institute is encouraging the student all over the country. It is an appreciative step to coll3eect the courageous moment. For me it is a wonderful creativity to encourage the students to improve their writing skills for the motivation of the students.


Some methods can be adopted to explore their hidden skills of writing.


These are


1 sharing their memorable moments, feelings, thoughts with class fellow in class


2 To create writing activity in class.


3 To teach them the form of writing such as poems, short story, story


Such type of creative work empowers children to recognize themselves and value & role of courage in life.


In fact writing inspires & brings positive thought & courage in reader.



 Reflection about Washington DC


We availed the opportunity to visit Washington DC from June 24-26,2013. In that visit we got golden chance to visit many spacious places, such as Museum, Capitol building, Albert Einstein statue, state department and many more important places. We were given an opportunity to take a moonlight trolley tour.


During this visit we met with many high competent authorities. They gave us warm welcome. A healthy, positive & constructive discussion occurred. That trip persuaded me to some minute question as


How nations built themselves?


During stay and keenly observation I found the answer of my eager questions and came to know the key of success of strong and developed nation. In my point of view the secret of its success is “EDUCATION & ITS APPLICATION IN PRACTICAL LIFE”


This nation strongly believes on hard working, to obey rules and regulations, and the human being's security.


This trip brought many positive and fervent changes in me. I felt that I can also bring positive changes in my society, community and students. In fact, it is a difficult step to bring changes but not impossible. We have to step forward. Good to best.


According to me, the message of this trip was if you want to move in society and progress, only “education and its application in practical life” mean education.





PELP REFLECTION
It was a great chance for us to participate in PELP .we learnt about American innovations in education for adaptation in Pakistan. It was totally a creative learning environment and to enhance leadership qualities. The main purpose of PELP is to prepare teachers for a lifetime of leadership.
PELP creates an environment that develops leaders for the future.PELP organized a course of 20 days for “Pakistani EDUCATION LEADERSHIP”.
Each & every session was replete with knowledge & skills. We learnt about the tools of leadership (communication techniques, leadership skills).
It was a vibrant cross-cultural and educational exchange program that brings together USA & Pakistani citizens. It is celebrating its tenth year on the campus of Plymouth state university.
